What is wrong with you? Who am I to say that another adult cannot worship as they please? It's one thing to quarantine a sick person or suggest social distancing. However, when we start arresting people that decide as adults to go to church, that's just messed up.

I mean, seriously. For you ignernt folk:
The 2nd Amendment gives one the right to own a gun. Does it also give one the right to murder someone with that gun?
Likewise, the 1st Amendment gives one the right to "free speech". Does it extend to give one the right to exercise that speech in a manner which will spread disease?

They are letting criminals out on the street so they don’t die catch the virus in prison and you think they’re gonna hold the preacher man? Well he is Caucasian so it’s possible.

Adults should be able to make their own decisions.

Jesus it is scary how ignorant so many people are. Sure let em all get it, then give it to YOUR fricking family. They cannot assemble because it will increase general spread of the disease. People can't seriously be this fricking stupid...

This reminds me of when the cops arrested Jesus

You should just go ahead and move to England or China where stuff like this is ok.
In America, it is one of the last few rights that we haven't given up yet, but you sure as hell are trying.
Is the pastor an ignorant fool who is putting people at risk for his own fame and fortune? Ab-so-freakin-lutely.
Is he within his God given and 1st Amendment rights to hold a religious service? Ab-so-freakin-lutely.

I have very mixed feelings about this situation and others like it.
On one hand, it’s doesn't seem smart to have large congregations gathering in close proximity.
On the other, places like Walmart and others are still filled with people and business as usual.
Another thing that bothers me is the government selectively deciding who can and can not operate as normal. There is an entire authoritarian feel to it.
It’s a complicated subject.

So, you are just going to roll over and give your rights away without due process because you are scared? Screw you and everyone like you. This was the quietest coup in world history. You think you get all of your rights back? That's laughable.
They have violated the freedom of speech, religion, right to bear arms, due process, search and seizure, and right of assembly. All in the name of fear. Good reason or not, the government acting this way is NOT GOOD.

Spell said his church, which normally has more than 1,000 attendees on Sunday across five locations, will be distributing “anointed handkerchiefs” to provide members with “healing virtues.”

Someone else would show up to preach.
No way that would stop churchgoers. In fact many others would be emboldened to attend.
This about not beliving the media and government lies and freedom.

I don't think anyone is disputing that.
He IS within his legal and God given rights to have church service, no matter how that makes YOU feel.

Pretty damned sure the 1st Amendment doesn't give one the right to spread disease. Might want to check the case law on that...
Yet people can gather at Walmart and other stores. If it is sooooo dangerous, shut it all down. Food, gas, police ect....
