don’t understand the hate about Arkansas. Good people, great scenery.

I prefer keep it a semi secret.

I love going to arkansas for some R&R. NW arky has boomed but other than that it is pretty quiet, even hot springs isnt too crowded at peak times

and no, the mountains arent colorado, but I have zero desire to ski. the ozarks (and oachitas) are very nice

About the ONLY way that could be in any single scenario is if AR legalized weed.

Everything else CO has is far, far superior. At least the western 1/2 of Colorado.

We love it in Arkansas. We've been four times in the last year. We will be retiring there. Somewhere around the Harrison Jasper area. Currently looking for land with a cabin on it to buy. These pics are from January.

Make sure that if you go for one of these reasons, make sure it is not located in a dry county. I used to have to go to Arkansas for work. It was in a dry county and would have to drive 18 miles to replenish our alcohol

Well, considering you can probably get 3 times the house and property in Arkansas at half the price of similar in Colorado, I'd prefer Arkansas, especially as a retiree.

Northwest Arkansas and Colorado. Two places black recruits hate.

NW Arkansas is a lot more like NE Alabama and East Tennessee than anywhere west of the plains. I don't even see the comparison.

Arkansas isn't quite the next Colorado, but Colorado is well on it's way to being the next California. It's been heading there for a long time, but it's picking up speed lately.

I can think of a lot worse places than NWA, but if I were moving back to the South it would be east Tennessee.

So a state with beautiful weather, beautiful women, shitload of economic opportunity. Sounds like a win.

When y'all say NW Arkansas, are y'all talking about the Fayetville area?

Arkansas is square in the middle of the Bible Belt.

That is both 10x better than Colorado and 10x worse. I'm glad we have both to choose from.

Arkansas has some great outdoor activities and a lot of beautiful scenery. But barring some seismic catastrophe, Arkansas will NEVER be the next Colorado!!!!
