Imaginative way for a cop to kill a dog. Didn't even have to draw the service weapon.

To be honest, that depends on the human.

The cop was in a dilemma. But ultimately, human life is valued over a dog's. She did everything by the book.

However, she should have let the woman go into the vet, get the dog in the care of the doc, then arrested the woman. But, ultimately, the cop didn't do anything wrong here except not having sympathy for a dying dog.

But the woman should have pulled over immediately.

Putting your flashers on and ignoring all traffic laws because your dog is sick doesn't exempt you.

NGL the whole parade procession for a dead K9 is dramatic when you consider cops will drop a lab for approaching them too quickly.

Umm, you can’t drive like a fricking psycho and endanger other Human lives just because your dog is sick even dying. FFS.

Get the dog help then punish the owner

The cop didn’t stop the passenger from trying to bring the dog to the vet to only find out they were closed. Was she then supposed to let the lady go on another high speed adventure in hopes the next clinic would be open?

I love my dog but you don’t get to drive like a lunatic and risk lives to save your dog.

It's called discretion, and it's a powerful tool these idiots are supposed to use. She should have assessed, realized what was going on, then helped her.

Write her arse 5 tickets after, it's not like those tickets were pressing.

I'd say she's low IQ, but it appears she's a power tripping a-hole.

You're giving her waaay too much credit.

I'd say the driver's only mistake was to engage the Nazi once she arrived at the vet instead of ignoring her and taking the dog inside before working it out with the jackboot.

I’m a little drunk but she kind of strikes me like that girl from police academy with the big titties.

And people think she’s the victim? And are angry at the officer? A sick dog doesn’t make it ok to go all Dukes of Hazzard. It just shows that most people are emotional idiots.

frick you

I’m not even one of those dog-loving animal fanatics, but even I can still see that this is an incredibly shitty, a-hole thing to say about someone who’s dog is dying in the car.

You pull over immediately and maybe the officer is sympathetic and maybe gives you an escort to the vet.

You don't just flip your blinkers on and expect to be treated like an ambulance when you are headed to the wrong place.

Again. You don’t get to just go on a high speed chase because your dog is dying.
