This is amazing. I’m a big supporter of cops, but also realize that some of their tactics can be shitty. This video is the best example I’ve ever seen of “turning the tables” on them.

That’s James Freeman. He’s been doing these “First Amendment Audit” videos for a couple of years now and this is one of his best. George Mason Auditing is even better at using a calm, confident approach.
These auditor guys usually don’t last long because they get bogus charge after bogus charge and go broke defending themselves until they flip and rat on other auditors. The linked video is good because it shows both the wrong way to handle these guys (detective who lets his ego get in the way) and the right way (uniformed guy who just goes about his business in a professional manner).

There's a group of people in my area who are similar to the guy videoing the cop. If they see a law enforcement or county maintenance vehicle parked at a bar or restaurant, they will literally go in and watch the government employees to see how long they are there, especially for county maintenance workers. Their justification is that the county should know if workers are taking longer lunches than allowed and not doing their job. I'm wondering if this guy got a tip from someone that the cop had been at a bar drinking a few rounds in the middle of the day.
