Try that in most areas of the South.

You'll get a trip to jail with a stop on the way to beat your handcuffed arse to a pulp.

Did this cop need the “tables turned on him?”

Or did the camera man decide he needed an ego boost so decided to go talk shite to a cop knowing he could get away with it

Which one? so the filmmaker is being a douche but if the detective is drinking on the job the public should know. That deputy didnt really want anything to do with either of them

What is the point of this? At the end of the video he says it has not been proven the investigator was drinking on the job.

Was he just trying to get an emotional reaction out of this guy?

If this dude is dirty and he had proof of something going on that is one thing, otherwise this is bitch shite.

It's a really interesting experiment in human behavior.

What it shows is, most law enforcement operate on fear and intimidation. When you approach them with confidence and with an accusatory attitude, like they do with the public, it immediately puts them on the defensive and they back down a few notches. I've noticed that this is pretty consistent. Although there are some exceptions.

The cop in that video was nervous as hell. He wasn't sure if that guy knew his boss r if he was truly an investigator or with some kind of police watchdog group like the Metropolitan Crime Commission.

You could see him retracing his steps in his mind to try to figure out if this guy witnessed him doing something he shouldn't have been doing like sleeping in his car or hanging out at a bar or a friend's house.

Yeah, was waiting to see him say why on the video that he thought he was drinking, but assume he followed him out of a bar or something back to the headquarters.

Cop didn't have much to say about it.

That's kind of the point. I thought the cop did pretty well. Most of the time cops don't allow you to make an arse of yourself. They typically try to get you on some kind of bulshit charge if they don't like your attitude. I think this guy got away with it because of how overly aggressive and accusatory he was while also leaving a lot of doubt in the cops mind about how much he knew.

I think the detective was hoping that he would get backup and could gang up on the guy. The deputy didn't take the bait. De-escalation is a talent that is hard to teach.

Oh yeah? Well shite if it’s his property he should try going inside that gate. Maybe walk in the building and go take a shite in the officer’s office. Since it’s his property and all.

That was a pure case of I'm gonna use the camera as a shield so I can act a donkey without zero repercussions. Lucky for him it only works on cops and politicians. The general public, not so much. To the general public he gets his arse whipped. Plus hes doing it for the views. He knows what hes doing and it's not for the "public good." Its for his good and his pocket book

So you want the cop to get an assault charge and have his life ruined just so you can get your rocks off?

Is this just cops or people in general? Assuming this guy just came out of no where what would you do in this situation?

Let's say you are going back to the office after lunch and some dude in the parking lot, while videoing, just starts asking you questions? You have no idea what that person's agenda is. You don't know if they are trying to get you to say something that they could then go edit the video to make it look like you said something else.

Since it is on video its not like you can just go whip his arse because then that would be assault. There is no point in arguing with him because who knows what else he will say.

And as an investigator, you never know who it could be. It could be someone related to a case that was investigated in the past trying to get you fired.

I am not pro or anti police. Every situation is different. Like any other group of people, there are bad ones and good ones. And for the guy to say at the end of then video that they have no evidence the investigator was drinking on the job makes me question his motive.

I was thinking the same thing. The gang in blue.

No. That other cop seemed like a really level-headed guy. Probably won't last very long on the force, unfortunately.

And female cops are very good at it. Which is why I think we need more of them. Guys have too much ego and pride.
