I just love when a people birthed in secession try to become indignant over the right of other people to choose their own government for themselves.
Well, we've clearly established it wasn't that.

Maybe start with the constitutional grounds for federal invasion for starters.

The rebels violated the Insurrection Act when they attacked Ft Sumter, leading to the military deployment.
They weren’t rebelling. They seceded. Enormous difference in between a rebellion and a divorce and forming a new government. But this plays to a people who really don’t understand the concept of what a state is, much less their sovereignty to begin with.

As I've said many times, your little paint by numbers life clearly isn't what you try and make it out to be.

They attacked a US military installation. Act of war, act of rebellion, it doesn’t make much of a difference.

this is where you call me a racist, again.
Wait, are you suggesting the BLM marches were anything like the campaign of political suppression against freed black people in the aftermath of the CW?

You really need to stop lying to yourself.

Not sure why you keep using Malcolm X's viewpoint as though it is dispositive.
Because whether you know it or not you are echoing his racist rhetoric and divisive ideology.

nope. i’m heavily suggesting you aren’t capable of forming a fair opinion because of your political beliefs

I joke about people being legitimately angry 24/7 in here on the reg but crazy4lsu is next level
Now he’ll say it’s fun to post here because we’re all so very stupid and he’s so very intelligent

South Carolina ceded the grounds of Fort Sumter to the United States well before 1861 and then had the gall to engage in a siege and then demand the garrison leave so that they would be starved out. They were acting like a state, with full knowledge that as a state, they were violating the sovereignty of another state, and thus paid the consequence.

Yeah, I knew you would back down. That was an insanely stupid equivalence.

Well, we've clearly established it wasn't that.
It is EXACTLY the same secession and right to secession that the colonies used with England.
That’s the only thing that is established here.

Who mustered troops first for the purpose of invasion of not South Carolina, but the whole of the Confederate States of America?
This isn’t grounds for treason. War perhaps, but not treasonous acts, since clearly they were no longer united with the other states.
HALF of the Confederacy hadn’t even seceded before Lincoln mustered those troops for invasion.

See, here is the chance for you to post something Malcom X wrote and compare it to my posts to prove your point. Yet, you back down again, after you couldn't even make a point earlier. Sad.

Everyone leaves out the Economic warfare the North used for close to 40 years prior though for some weird reason

Troops representing the so-called Confederate States of America attacked the fort.
