87.3% of all statistics are completely made up. My mother has never done any of that.

My parents divorced when I was 12.

My dad was an arse. He abused my mom and me. I was glad to see him go.

This is wrong on multiple levels.
First, your dad.
Second, how is it that asses can get "so many" girlfriends? What's wrong with you women?

To answer the OP, divorce only happens for 2 or 3 reasons.

1. Sex drive difference. (Which leads to mistresses, etc.)

2. Money. Woman spends everything the man makes. The money reason is ALWAYS the woman's fault.fact.

3. Controlling. One spouse finally has had enough of the other's BS. Can't do this, can't do that, etc.
The control reason is probably 98% the man's fault. This is the least reason, but probably higher % reason of older age divorces.

50, 60 year-old men now can easily smash women half their age. Moreso than ever before, especially if they are making a decent living.

I'm 55 with a good job and decent looks. I can get much younger women, but I prefer women in the range of 30's to 50's.

Mine are still married, although I sometimes wonder how my Dad has put up with all my Mom's crap for so long.

Yes

Mom says dads a drunk mother fricking piece of shite and dad says moms a pretentious bitch who spent all his money

I guess that's the reason :)

I think this is correct but not 100% of the time. My ex has made a living out of bashing me in front of our kids. My current wife however, maintains a civil relationship with her ex and doesn't talk down about him to their kids. And he is the one who cheated on her. But my wife is a remarkable woman and a very rare breed.

Yes they are. It was due to the fact that my father was and is one of the biggest douche bag POS people to ever walk the earth. He cheated on and hit my mother. He is lucky he was well over 60 with Parkinson's when I finally found out, but I think having Parkinson's with noone is that will take care of you is a pretty decent punishment.
The man had it all and it wasn't enough.

If you have a good relationship with both are you sure you want to know? Good chance you'll come out of this thinking less of one or both.
