We don’t want for much. Our 401k’s are good. We get a couple of decent trips in every year. Alot of people would think we are “rich”, but we don’t have a big surplus at the end of the month after retirement savings, mortgage, car note, insurance, utilities, food, etc. It’s gotten harder to save since homeowners went up 40% followed by a couple of big ticket home repairs. But, life is good overall. We are happy and healthy. Our parents and extended families are (mostly) happy and healthy. Can’t ask for much more.

I have a wife, kids, grandkids, 3 dogs, a cat and most importantly a very nice collection of 68-70 B body mopars which includes a 100% original 1968 Hemi charger 4 speed car. Don’t know what that makes me but it’s all good enough for me.

No, I'm pretty poor.

I'm healthy, my child is healthy, my wife (no pics) is healthy. We have a nice home, groceries, and all the necessity's. We both have nice vehicle's, we don't want for anything, we both have good careers, and we can go and do as we please.
I get to give back to my community by coaching and running a festival, my wife helps with both as much as she can and our daughter gets to grow up in a stable and loving environment.
All 4 of our parents are alive and healthy. All of my wife and I's siblings are alive and healthy. We have good relationships with all of them.
I feel like i'm the richest man alive everyday.
Just my opinion.

We're cash flow positive while living a comfortable lifestyle. We don't ball out all the time, but we also don't worry about money.

that's just something poor people say.

I am relatively healthy, have a woman who seems to like me and 2 kids who do the same and have been fortunate enough to earn enough to mostly do anything that popped into my head. Not rich monetarily but in life for certain...

For all the bitching and whining about our nation it is a good idea to occasionally stop and think how fortunate we are to have been born US citizens. There is plenty to bitch about but it pales in comparison to the advantages we take for granted....

Our household makes good money, but I felt more fiscally free when I made $26k a year.

No. Every time I think I’m getting richer shite happens. I’ve accepted my destiny as a poor.

Now you have me curious. How does one become independently wealthy as a teenager if no inheritance is involved?

To me rich is 10 million in assets. I am not sure I’ll ever get there, but I will certainly try
