I did not think anyone would need that explanation. Yes, the 2 year old and the three month old girls are the children of my daughter-in-law and my son, i.e., my grand daughters.

After re-reading i dont know how i missed the word "their".
But now youve listed your DIL before for your son twice and thats odd to me lol.

I believe in "ladies first".
*I'd change youve to "you've" or "you have"; use a comma after "twice"; remove the word "and"; and change "thats" to "that's" or "that is".
But that's just me.

It's how I was raised. When I talk about visiting them I say, I'm going to see (my daughter-in-law's name) and (my son's name).

Your recent post here saddens me. Specifically this statement:
Tell her that 400 years of oppression in America was also exemplified in a singing ban and that as a faithful Anglican, she does not wish to find herself on the wrong side of history or, more importantly, the judgment bar.
Safe travels and I wish you well. I’ve added a suggested song selection so she sees her way clear to rescind her prohibition. Lowry, although a Baptist, speaks wonderfully to us all through this hymn. A link to the audio of you singing this in the dark backseat tonight as you all hurl through the night would do wonders for all of our spirits, certainly to know that you were in a better place.

Yep, this has been the worst Thanksgiving of my life. My three kids went to spend the day with their Mother, and it's been awfully quiet around here.
My Mom suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, so she's completely shut in. My Dad is working out of town.
