Upper income tier for the area we're in.

The calculations on that seem like crap. They are counting up to $100k as middle income in Louisiana. $110k and up as upper income.
LA median income is $47k so double that is still middle class?

Oof I checked my old San Francisco salary of $110,000 before taxes and I'm middle class.

Was kind of hoping this tool would actually tell you what percent you are not just give a broad number of "upper class us 24% where you live"
That is a huge gap

Mine says I'm poor and retarded. Now I feel bad for arguing with people on here about stuff.

I make quite a bit more than that and then my wife works for big 4.....

Higher than 5% in my area by a decent amount.......whatever. I live in Stirling Ridge. I can’t be top 5% especially with Carlton Woods sitting in the middle.

Based on your household income and the number of people in your household, YOU are in the UPPER income tier, along with 23% of adults in BATON ROUGE.

As soon as the kids move out we'll be upper.

I’m middle class with a family of 4.
I’m upper if I put single and just my income

I’m in the upper in Mississippi making 85k as a single person in my household.
That’s kinda sad tbh

I'm upper. And that is sad because I sure as hell don't feel upper.
