Anything related to Government aid means "At the Taxpayers Expense". The Government gives nothing without first taking away.

One in the main reasons college tuition has increased so much is the additional administrative positions and the costs associated. Same thing in healthcare.

A buddy's sister graduated from SMU in 1984 with a journalism degree. She had done an internship with the Dallas Times Herald. They offered her a full-time job, with a starting yearly salary of $12K. Her parents were pissed that she didn't get the Mrs. degree they thought they were paying for.

it was around $3k/year back then, which was reasonable for an above-average state school.
and this is from a kid who had to forego excellent college options for the affordable route of LSU

sounds like the kinesiology major didn't use the degree to its full potential. with that said undergrad for a kinesiology degree at 80k is ridiculous.
a kinesiology degree provides a good foundation for applying to pt, pa, or even med school if the core courses are the right ones.

I had scholarships, but working as a lifeguard during the summer I could have saved enough to pay my tuition at A&M in the early 00’s. No chance a kid could do that now!
