I'm so glad we live in the age of amazon... almost all of my gifts are bought after 0 trips to a mall or store

Like 95%. I’ve got to go this weekend and get a couple of gift cards and stocking stuffers.

I anxiously await my presents

I like shopping for people on random times when I see something that I know someone would love. I hate the expectation to buy people things and them return it with things.

My mother is completely open about what she’s giving us and what everyone is getting each other, so there’s not even an element of surprise. She plays messenger finding out what everyone needs and then telling their gifters. I’d rather just buy the damn serving dish I need than literally accompany her to the store, pick it out, let her take it 40 miles back to her town, me drive 40 minutes for Christmas, then me tote it around in my car for the next 3 days until I’m back home.

I’m almost done. Gotta get my nephews some little tractor toys but I’ll knock that out at Tractor Supply this weekend. Good to go after that.

People get pissed at me for just this reason. I don’t really need anything. If I need something, I go get it. Makes shopping for me difficult.
