Do you yell at every stupid driver, flip them the bird?

Does your wife/Husband, Significant other for the aTm folk, worry you will stroke out yelling at other drivers?

I used to be real bad, I have chilled out a lot in past 2 years. I just fully expect every driver out there to be shitty and just LOL at how bad they are.

I’m a road disapprover

I pull up next to assholes and give them a judgemental look so they can be ashamed of their actions

I like to play a little mental game where I have the super power to erase anyone from having ever existed. I do it a lot while driving.

I wait for eye contact and then shake my head disapprovingly .

Yes.

I like to consider myself a pretty calm, cool, rational man. I don't show much negative emotion at all in private with others or in public.

But by myself, in bad traffic? Nothing let's the pressure off like calling someone a water headed cracker c-unt or various other epithets that can't be typed out.

Sports and traffic are the only avenues where I allow myself to act like an incorrigible a-hole (verbally).

I try to convince myself of this, but it really isn't a laughing matter when life and property are threatened by an idiot in charge of directing a 2 ton death machine.

I sometimes mumble, “You stupid frick,” angrily, though clenched teeth. Then it’s over and I’m past it.

I used to let it get to me. But I was watching road rage compilations on YouTube and everyone looked so stupid. It doesn't matter who's right.

That and probably everyone has a gun in their car.

Yes, I tend to get very annoyed at bad drivers, but I never actually direct it at them, just simply voice my displeasure to myself.

Agreed, hope they're not listening to me either.

It depends on traffic. If it's light I let it go, but if there's heavy traffic I yell, cuss, flip the bird, etc over it.

A few years back, I was stuck in morning traffic. There was a car that cut me off, I barely could avoid hitting them. The window was down, and I just started yelling and cussing at them. A little later, they changed lanes and I came up beside them. It was this old woman driving with her husband in the passenger seat, and they looked like they was about 90 years old. The old man looked like he was wanting to look over at me but was scared to. I don't usually feel bad about yelling at people in traffic, but did feel a little bad about that one when I saw the old man looking scared like that.

I'd guess that >50% of the times I yell in the car about some stupid slow frick, it ends up being a geriatric. I feel a little bad about it, but then again they probably shouldn't be on the road.

unless the driver in the front of the line has their head in their phone and doesn't notice the light change until it's too late.

This. I let anger get in the way of judgment when I first got my license and did something stupid causing an accident.

Minor, but absolutely my fault.

I remember the State Trooper being pretty cool about it.

He said you are young you been driving what a few months?

He said "Let me give you some advice. Never make a driving decision out of anger. People do stupid things on the road. That guy did something stupid and it pissed you off and you did something stupid in anger. Don't worry about anyone else and the things they do, just worry about keeping yourself safe when you are driving."

I remember that conversation like it was yesterday.
