I haven't really been proud of the USA for a while now. The last few months have even brought the unpleasant realization that I don't like it at all.
I don't like most of its people. I don't like its federal government or its laws. I don't like what our police and military have become, and I think the left 65% of our people are traitors to their ancestors and their ideals.
Whatever patriotism I could muster right now would be completely hollow. There's nothing left but nostalgia.

WTF? Are things the best they can be right now? No. Unlike most people on the board, I don't even like our president.. But I am proud as hell to be an American. I wouldn't want to live in any other country.
