Virgivitiphobia, yes.

Fine, so it's just a useless word with little meaning.

Well, "close minded" is basically a useless term now as well. All it means 99% of the time is "you don't agree with me."

Your own inference. Words have meanings. Your opinion of the value of certain words is yours and yours alone; it does not change the dictionary definition of a word, nor does it change whether or not a given word applies to you in any way.

It kind of diminishes the word," phobia" when there is a phobia to describe almost every fear or so called fear.

The modern English language has been bastardized. The term "homophobia" is an assault on our vernacular because it literally makes no sense.

So if someone doesn't like a child molestor, does that make him a molestophobe?

Someone who is scared of children would be a pedophobe.

You bring up a great point. If you uploaded an understanding of etymology onto an alien's brain 100 years ago, and he returned to earth, he would think the word means that you are scared of men, not gay people.

If you use the word you are an idiot.

Homophobe is a stupid term. I'm not afraid of gays.

I don't really have a problem with it. They can do whatever they want. What I have a problem with is this whole "let's push our agenda on everyone! We want Affirmative action and hiring quotas and shite!" I don't want to be forced to think being gay is normal. To me, it isn't. It's unnatural. Human nature is to put a dick in a vagina. If they don't wanna do that, FINE! But stop trying to thought police me into liking it.

I'm not a homophobe, but I'm against gay marriage and this the lifestyle goes against God's will for our lives spelled out clearly in Scripture.

Is that a problem?

Do you take literal every bible verse right down to the last period?

I have friends that are gay, and we are fine, but they know where I stand.

What verse are you speaking of on this issue?

Correct. Usually by narrow minded people who can't debate without attempting this childish tactic.

Why don't you go read Romans 1 and see where you land? Everyone jumps to the Old Testament to support their narrow minded view of Christianity, and ignores the fact that a New Covenant between God and his people began with the birth of Jesus.
