Coronado Beach will do wonders in this regard.

At some time, yes

Majority of actions, good or bad, are done for selfish reasons.
For example most people don't do good deeds because they want to do the right thing, it's because they crave the attention and adulation of others for doing something good. See all the rich corrupt people who are "philanthropists".

The capability for murder lies in most all of us if we are pushed past a certain point.
For some the point is much easier to cross.
Some will kill you over scuffing their shoes.
Some over insulting their deity
Some only if you truly do something heinous. If you harm their family.
But rest assured the beast lurks.
Of course, one could argue that murder isn’t evil, just a reflection of the culture and social mores we dwell in.

You answered your own question.

Everyone straddles the line between dark and light many times in their life. Some just peer across, some cross over and back often and some set up camp on the dark side. We've all been there though, at least mentally.

Everyone has capacity for both good and evil.

No such thing. There is no good/evil. There is only survival/death. If good deeds will help you survive long enough to propogate your genes then you have succeeded in nature. It’s simply a means to an end
You're better than this. That's such a reductionist fedora-tipping statement meant either to be purposefully obtuse or rationalize evil.

It has also been thoroughly debunked in even agnostic and atheistic philosophy and anthropology circles.
