Look, the lazy river is retarded, but an upgrade to the UREC was vastly needed, and seeing as it was paid for by students, I don't really see why its an issue

The issues over the last 5 years or so has been that as LSU has increased tuition via the Grad Act, the legislature just cut their portion by the same percentage.

agree it's retarded. That's why I sighted it instead of the Urec. But both are expenses that aren't essential. And since students can buck up an extra couple of hundred per semester for a pool or gym, they can put up for their tuition so tax payers don't have to.

Alumni are a huge problem, though. I wish all the fools who donate only to TAF understood how much more important it is to donate to the endowment instead. It's embarrassing.

Starting this year, TOPS is capped. Now, the legislature could uncap it, but, I doubt they will. If LSU has a massive tuition increase, it won't be covered by TOPS.
