There is always a recession coming, the trick is knowing how far away.

No expansion lasts forever, the Clintonistas found that out at the turn of the century with the dot bomb bust and the Trumpkins will discover the same at some point.

Shitloads of gubment money propped up the economy, it's going to correct. Plus, rising interest rates

The negative side of Keynesian economics.

The stock market is always a roller coaster. Quit watching it daily. It will make you go crazy

I think the Fed is raising rates despite a forecast of slowing growth so that they'll have some arrows in the quiver when it gets here.

In essence, they are going to accelerate the slowdown so that they have a way to combat said slowdown

I hope this is sarcasm... because if not, you are showing extreme ignorance of economics.

Yeah it's confusing. It's a form of central planning and I have a lot of distrust for that system

Yep, and let's not forget where the gubment gets it's money. From the people they are supposed to be responsible too. I hope someday, we hold them responsible.

I was going to answer with an informative post about the stock market and its implications, but I just realized you are a troll.

We’re always headed toward a recssion. That’s how this deal works. We’re also headed toward new highs.

We’ve had a 10 year run. We’re probably going to have a recession, but nobody know when or for how long.

This is a big part of it. The Fed dropped rates and kept them low to try to resuscitate from the 2008 recession.

They have to get rates up far enough that they have a place to drop them to when things inevitably start trending down.

The economy can't expand forever, and building in some room to actually be able to cut rates helps.

They held rates too low for too long. It's going to bite them in the arse now.
