In light of the Epstein “suicide”, the refusal to charge a former FBI director for leaking classified into to the press, virtually nothing coming out of the Harvey Weinstein ordeal, and that little shite Jussie Smollet calling in favors...do we have a larger than expected class of wealthy elites that are above the law?

It seems like we have a very serious corruption problem that prevents us from bringing justice to the rich and famous.

We are ruled by the political elite

They are above the law

If I did a tenth of what they do, I'd be under the jail

I didn't realize many people thought otherwise. This is not anything new.

We are really corrupt because we have something called lobbying that’s illegal in most other nations. Lobbying is the reason why some things still suck like high drug prices and messed up laws.

Don't forget to mention all the foreign governments we have overthrown.

If we knew the truth, we would probably panic and freak out.

I know everyone is having fun with the suicide theories but the dude was never getting out of jail and would be a marked man. Accused pedophiles kill themselves before trial often but conspiracy theories are more fun.

How does a high profile inmate placed on suicide watch get enough privacy to do the deed?

Its also the reason an idea, movement, or social improvement becomes standard practice in this country. I get it and you're right that our system has flaws and the lobby industry highlights those flaws but that industry in some form or fashion is responsible for giving women the right to vote, us the ability to legally protect ourselves with weapon, and a shitload of other ideals that were once attacked or not considered mainstream.

There’s no question. 2016 Wikileaks and the media response attacking people who seek out information for themselves has completely exposed them.

It’ll be interesting to see if they can take back control with big tech censorship over the coming decade

Not exactly. Everyone eventually thinks it's completely corrupt. Whether you realize it yet is only a matter of how young and naive you still are. Eventually, though, if you see enough of what happens, you come to the realization on your own.

Next question.

I think it’s just incompetence. You know when you get a job and you have the feeling like you have no idea what’s going on and you just fake it to get by? That’s how everybody goes through life every day. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

A lot of people don't realize the full extent of things until they're 30 or even 40. The problem is, at that point they've been voting for years.
