It could be your spare. Spares have them too. I had the same problem and couldn't figure out what was going on and then read to check the spare and that was the issue.

the scam is when the dealerships indicate every time I do an oil change that you need a new air filter and engine air filter and want to charge you $40 for the filter and $75 to install it, no thanks I'll do it myself

Side Note: Nitrogen in your tires is a scam.
It's a way to extract more money from people who don't remember that normal air is just under 80% nitrogen.

The light in my 18 camry is on and won't go away..
Do you have a real tire for your spare or a solid "donut"?

Did you change your tire air this past weekend? It knows you still have summer air in the tires. You have to change it to winter air after summer is over. C'mon! I bet your wife even knows that!

Do what Click and Clack from Car Talk advise about incorrect warning lights----take a square of black electrical tape and cover the light.

Go to YouTube and type: How to Reset the (TPWS) tire pressure monitoring system on a 2018 Toyota Camry
If it doesn’t work you have a bad sensor or dead sensor battery.
I just battled this on my truck, it was driving me insane.

I have perfect 36 lbs of air pressure and the light won't go out

Wow, so you are saying that your car is alive and kind of like a woman wants a new pair of shoes? Interesting

Found the problem. I love Toyotas and have owned a half dozen or more over the years, but their TPMS is horrible. The Sienna, Sequoia, and all Highlanders we have owned all have TPMS issues, so I assume the Camry does as well.
There is a reset button hidden way underneath the dash on the Highlanders. I aired all 4 plus the spare up to proper pressure, held that button down until it reset, and within a week the light was back on. Similar on the Sienna we had.
Currently driving a Chevy for a work car, and it is great. Tells me the exact pressure of all 4 tires if I cycle through the menu options.

Everything is a scam to low IQ morons

The SO just had the module replaced because it went out (car is 5 years old). The sensor was staying on despite the tires being at the right pressure.

so do the Tundra and 4Runner we have

If already said, check the pressure in the spare.
My wife has a 4Runner and that is what was keeping the light on after I checked and filled her regular tires.

Very likely it’s this - a Toyota full size spare tire has a TPS, Toyota is one of the few auto manufacturers that put a TPS in the spare. Every time I had a low tire pressure warning it was the spare (I drive Toyotas). The battery in a TPS should last 8-10 years.

Not sure how it’s a scam. It tells you tire pressure and they only last for so long.
You people find the strangest stuff to get outraged over.

What are these spare tires you speak of? Mine came with a can of fix a flat, an inflator and a 1-800 number for roadside assistance.

Have you checked the flux capacitor? It's right next to the TPMS

Keep your tires properly inflated using a $1.99 tire gauge and a portable air compressor you can leave in your trunk.
Scam averted!!!
My tire pressure warning light has been on for 10 years and I’m waiting for it to burn out.
