I mean seriously what the frick is going on? They could make the bags half the size just to let us know how bad they are fricking us.

Y’all’s fat asses need it.

I can’t believe people buy potato chips still. It is easily one of the biggest rip offs in the grocery store.

No lie, picked up a bag of lays last week to eat with sandwiches. I haven’t bought chips in ages but I was immediately shocked when I saw how small the regular bag is now. Shrinkflation must have hit chips hard

Plus the price. Those are crazy expensive.
And they aren't very filling.

Everything is shittier quality and more expensive than ever before

Yes and to $$. Not worth $5 plus for a d*mn bag. If I even buy chips these days, I’ll buy 2/$7 or less. Empty calories anyway, so I don’t really need them. If you like cheese balls, they sell those tubs for $7.99, and it lasts for weeks.

I got to thinking from this thread: “Pushing your chips in” means something different in College Station than in the normal world.

You're gonna need to weigh them to find out for sure. On the bag somewhere is probably printed, "This product is sold by weight, not volume."
If they did that you'd be here bitching about having a bag of potato chip crumbs. They'd all be broken.

Get the knockoff Extra Toasty cheez-it crackers made by Crav’n (Brookshire’s store brand). Better flavor and that box is full to the brim.

Yes, it's called shrink-flation

definitely.
I eat natures own bars for breakfast. They’re literally 50-60% of their normal size now. Wrapper is same size, comical how much is empty.

I’m glad I don’t eat them. Bags are less than half full and outrageously priced. My MIL loves chips so I get a chance to see how ridiculous the packaging is for chips.

I've noticed that as well. Family size/party size bags are the size regular bags were before.
“Party size” Fritos the other day at Calandros was $7 and change. I almost fell out.

Just read the weight on the bottom of the bag..

You seen how big a regular can of vegetables are now? About two thirds what they was. Gonna mess up some recipes.
