I’ve never met one. Never even seen any male employee, straight or gay, in a Dermatology Clinic

I work for a telederm practice. We have one male derm out of about 13 total.

My derm is a dude and he's the most efficient doctor in the world. He rolls in, examines my entire body, cuts things off and is gone within like 60 seconds

"How are you, any issue or your wife made you come...let's see that little guy...that's a mole...this is something...take that one...roll over...we'll take that off...you look good, your PCP can do what I do see you in 2 years."

I'm probably dying of skin cancer but it's impressive.

It’s fine. The ladies here are very nice and friendly and mostly beautiful.

It’s just that the place is oozing estrogen.

Dermatology already feels like a discipline more closely aligned with witch-doctors than actual medical science. It seems to be mostly (not all) guess work.

It needs a little testosterone boost, IMO.

Haven't ever seen one. I get checked regularly because skin cancer runs in my family. The last time I went the Dr asked me where I work out when I took my shirt off. Felt good.

I see Dr. Thorla in Gonzales. Straight shooter and doesn’t bullshite around problems. I like him.

Went to a male dermatologist in my teens. Weird dude. Went in for teenage acne, but he was always asking about the condition of my penis skin. Seriously creeped me out. I'll never forget his raspy voice.

....and this thread just took a strange turn.......

My dermatologist the majority of my life was a male until he retired a couple of years ago.

This my experience. My old doc died so I had to go younger. He seems to have a large practice and I knew his aunt and grandfather. Attractive guy who appears quite straight but all the staff are female hotties in the 35 - 55 range.

I go in once a year and he slices and freezes stuff to keep skin cancer at bay.
