This incident happened two years ago and because I had contacted various attorneys, I could not go forward with a case against this quack.
You’re not going to like the answer a good lawyer gives you now due to this.

I’m going to guess lower lip and tongue parasthesia due to an extraction.

I will give ya'll a brief recap of what happened to me and explain more about it tomorrow. I had good teeth for the majority of my life. One day I was eating some stuffed crabs and a small bridge that was located in the far back at the top of my mouth fell out. My dentist was out of town for a couple of weeks so I had to go elsewhere. I was going out of town in a few days so I needed to have that bridge put back in place. On my way home I pass by a place called Affordable Denture and Implants. I stopped there because I just needed to have a bridge put back in, no major dental work would be involved. The dentist told me to come back in the morning and she would put my bridge back in. I go in the next morning and the dentist sees me immediately.

In fairness, it may have occurred in a state with a longer SOL for MM or torts in general but if it was in LA then...

Posted by highup7 11/8/23 at 9:22 pm Last month my neighbor was eating candy and a small bridge located at the top back of her mouth fell out. She immediately called her dentist but she found out that he was on vacation for the entire month. She was riding down Sherwood Forest when she saw a sign about a place called Affordable Dentures and Implants. She said that she went inside and talked to a dentist about her bridge falling out. The dentist told her she could fix her bridge and he scheduled her for the next morning. She goes the next day and everything seemed okay. She said that she should have suspected something when the dentist gave her three injections to the inside roof of her mouth. She was kind of knocked out after the injections. Dentist goes to work on her mouth and when the procedure was over she found out that they wouldn't take dental insurance, care credit card or any other credit card. She paid the full amount using her debit card. She paid 3,000 bucks for the procedure. She goes to her car and looks in the mirror to see her replaced bridge. That dentist pulled all of her top teeth out of her mouth. Nothing was wrong with any of her top teeth except for the bridge. She went to different attorneys and a couple of days later they told her they could not take her case. She had beautiful white teeth and now she has to wear a top denture. I just wonder why attorneys won't take her case. She even called the home office of Affordable Dentures and Implants and nothing was done. After I heard her story I told her that they realized they screwed up and that is why they didn't accept any other forms of payment. She could probably tell the credit card companies to stop payment.

You’re fricked under statute of limitations. I believe La. is one year from date of injury but is now two (as of 2024). You’ll need to find another cause of action.

Are you the same poster who went to the dentist for some work and had all your teeth pulled out? I remember that thread.
I still have nightmares about it.
