Well there’s no way he’ll ever be a chooser.

I don’t think she was begging. She was known to offer services.

Everyone around here gives their money to the casinos. Nothing left for beggars.

None - even vagrants know South LA is superior to North LA. - except for deer season.

Shreveport is bum city. Hell, even the small town I live in has its share of bums now.

SW side of downtown is loaded with vagrant vermin, enabled by the Rescue Mission's relocation downtown as well as some other do gooder place a block or so south of the courthouse (you can drive by and see the bums snoozing on the sidewalk).

They litter. They piss and shite everywhere. The dipshits who deliver them food are too stupid to figure out where those styrofoam containers go (on the ground) when the bums are finished.

When the Rescue Mission opens the chow line, there are women who line up, all of whom are fat.

Do the friggin travel ball teams at all major intersections “passing the hat” count?

If yes, then Lafayette is covered.

Monroe

I don't know about beggars but Monroe used to have some Nation of Islam dude would sell fruit on Hwy 165 in the southbound median at the intersection just after the NLU/ULM exit. But only to black people, I remember him not even making eye contact with me once he saw I was white.

Where are you seeing this? I occasionally see one or two near the interstate, and another 1 or 2 downtown at times (not even every time I go).

I don't think I've ever seen this. I don't go there often (maybe once a month) but I don't think I've ever seen a homeless person there.

It’s a guy maybe mid 30s who sits by the entrance kind of behind Smoothie King. See him when I’m passing a lot. Doesn’t look too hungry....

Gotcha, I don't really go down that far. I typically don't go further than Tsunami or Parc International. Every once in a while I'll see a homeless person, but not a lot of them and not even every time I'm down there. Maybe I just don't see or pay attention to them, because they are so many less here than I saw when I lived in New Orleans.

Monroe has beggars. Both sides of the Louisville Bridge in Monroe, out by Sam's, 165 and Desaird are a few places.
And of course in lots of parking lots.

These fat kids piss me off. Do a car wash, you lazy bastards. You’ll meet your financial goal way faster that way and maybe build some character.
