Edibles are way more trashy than smoking

An edible is just doing drugs. Smoking is a social ritual

I see the skinny white boy still smokes his joints and listens to his gangster rap.

Wannabe's are so 1990s.

I don't have a problem at all with weed but part of the issue is the ease of getting a weed card in Louisiana. All you have to day is say you have anxiety and boom, you can be high all day if you want. This also made a lot of idiots think they can just go blaze up in public in front of kids or whoever. I'm not talking Jazzfest or something like that, I'm talking walking the 35 steps into the grocery. That is what needs to be controlled.

No, it shouldn't even require a card to begin with. Its a plant dude.

Correct, enforce a public smoking law, much like with alcohol and public intoxication.

You potheads say this shite, but look at how angry some of you are when someone points out the adverse things about it.

i havent had any in probably 6-7 years so i wouldnt call myself a pothead. i recognize its far less of an issue than alcohol, has actual medical uses, and is no more dangerous than the fast food and processed garbage most people shove down their gullet.

i also didnt post with any anger friend. Again, maybe you should have some and chill the frick out.

I agree. It should be legal on the federal level. My issue is with retards. I'm bringing up the card situation because it's still illegal recreationally in Louisiana. Yes, the enforcement has been relaxed big time but with the cards, the retards think they can go just go smoke wherever no matter who they are around.

you do drugs and live in an apartment with a minority grandchild.

You’re not even a wannabe. You’re the real thing

And edibles are so fricking gay. You probably vape too

For starters, the concept has essentially only existed for the period of the American experiment, and its existence has changed over time.

And freedoms are a privilege. They are a privilege we should nurture and try our best to maintain.

The minute someone with a bigger gun or stronger army wants to rescind those freedoms, they will.

Just look at England as an example of how that goes. The one with the power makes the rules.
Respectfully, Scruffy didn’t actually address my point. He dodged it.

I never questioned whether or not power exists, everyone knows it does. I questioned the framework you’re using. When you start calling freedom a “privilege,” you’ve already put the state in the parental role and yourself in the position of a child asking permission.

Your reply (“the one with the power makes the rules”) is a pivot, not a rebuttal or an explanation of your logic. Instead of defending why freedom should be treated like a privilege (as you framed it), you just described what happens after people accept that framing.

Scruffy conceded my point while pretending to argue against it.

If the only justification for treating freedom like a privilege is “because someone stronger can take it,” then you’re not talking about liberty anymore, you’re talking about base survival. Once you redefine freedom as something granted, you’ve already agreed it can be taken, because anything handed down by authority can be revoked when that authority decides you’ve “abused” it.

So the question still stands: do you believe freedom is something granted by authority, or something that exists in spite of it? Because those two worldviews don’t coexist.

Jazzfest is the only place I'll smoke in public. But so many do.
Yes the card is a joke. Now it's free from goodcannanow . Com. And the doctor is out the state. Very odd. Just tell them whatever the medical part is a joke

I live in a gated community and here isn’t the problem. Going to an LSU game has become a problem. Going anywhere in public has become a problem.

It’s fricking disrespectful and thoughtless. Go smoke your weed until you pass out. I don’t care. Don’t subject me to your shite habit/addiction.

I'm in a major city and rarely smell it and I was in Austin this weekend and can't recall if I smelled it anywhere. But I would rather smell weed than cigarette smoke.

It's a dump now. There are towns that don't endorse the business end of it and won't let dispensaries set up shop, however.

Durango was a great town a long time ago. The vagrancy is out of control there. I wouldn't point my truck in that direction
