I drove between Texas and Louisiana this weekend and saw 20+ marines billboards. Have been seeing a lot of marines commercials as well. Is recruitment down significantly or do they always advertise this much and I just never noticed?

What red blooded American man would want to fight under this Chinese owned administration?

It seems they've always advertised more than other branches. I'm guessing they are having a harder and harder time finding recruits who can meet the physical requirements.

They finally got smart and started advertising more in the state that seems to make up almost 1/2 of their recruits

Friends nephew is in boot camp right now. It took forever to get him through the process. They are being very selective, wanted to reject him for a small tattoo on the inside of his wrist, and that is making it hard to hit their recruitment numbers.

Isn’t the military as a whole struggling with recruitment?

I noticed the billboards a couple of weeks ago.

I also noticed that none of them showed a white male.

No idea - are they offering generous sign on bonuses? They do that whenever they get into trouble.

God Bless the men and women who choose the Marines. As if serving your country wasn't hard enough, you choose the branch with outdated equipment, terrible deployment options, and shitty supply infrastructure. But dem uniforms sure look pretty!

Maybe, maybe not but they may have trouble getting into the schools to recruit this year. I'm in Florida (panhandle) and a lot of the schools here aren't letting recruiters in this year. Niceville High is the exception, and they just set up an info table at the cafeteria entrance and pray someone decent is interested
