FIFY. I don’t have tattoos, I don’t look remotely like someone who would have tattoos, none of my friends or family have a single tattoo, but I would never think less of someone for having ink in their skin. You’re a gigantic douche if you think like that, not that it’s uncommon in the petty corporate worker bee alcoholic golfer circles

I am not sure I have ever read a more douchebag reply on this site before.

Then what is the point? Yes, they are trashy. Get a bumper sticker instead. Less trashy and more people can see it than your lower back.

Sounds like you’re trying to sell me or yourself on the idea, or maybe just ask permission.

Literally have no idea why you would do this. Take the money you’d spend on this and give it to an organization that provides services and support for families with autistic children. Make a commitment to do so annually. Not trashy and significantly more impactful.

Why do people turn their bodies into billboards? What's the psychology here? I never could understand it. Is there a "look at me" element in play?

First thing first DONT GO TO A RANDOM TATTOO PLACE. Do some homework and get a legit artist to do it. If your going to do it, do it right.

Are you doing it to raise awareness?

Who’s not aware of autism?

That might depend on whose back it is.

Not as long as you get it on your neck or hands.

Normal people always think less of people with tattoos. Get a bumper sticker.
This.

Bumper stickers are also trashy but less trashy and certainly less “permanent”.

Maybe a t-shirt?

It’s not about raising awareness.

If you’ve never been in the life of someone with autism it’s tough to understand what parents go through. I have a perfectly healthy 10 old daughter and got divorced a couple of years ago. There are a lot of things I took for granted raising her until this boy came into my life.

They're pretty hot in porn. Like, if I see some skank getting railed by a whole basketball team and she's got a sleeve tattoo, I think, "she seems cool." Of course, I wouldn't want her preparing food for me or anything.

They are only trashy if you get trashy tattoos.

If it has meaning to you, go for it. Make sure you go to a place that has a good reputation and does quality work.

Way trashier than a tattoo could ever be.

Then buy a damn cap and have something put on it. More people will see it.

Then what's the point of a tat with a message if you're going to hide it?
