I haven't come across a cop not indicated on waze, but I had at least 10 false alarms driving back from the LSU game last time.

Valentine 1 FTW!
For a very long time, the V1 was the standard. Every other radar detector paled in comparison.
And while the arrows are still incredibly useful today, the V1 is considered "chatty" by today's standards. And it's range, while still above average, falls below -- and considerably against the Uniden R1 and Uniden R3.

Thread is gay, thanks.
You're welcome, George. If it's gay enough for you then I guess I did a good job.

How fast do you drive with a radar detector compared to without one, and how much time does it save?

What’s with all the “is this/that trashy”? I can’t fathom how some of y’all are bothered by such trivial things as is a radar detector trashy.
Can we get a trashy or not board for those so inclined to pose such a question?

I swear to god "trashy" has become this board's version of the Far Left calling everything "racist".

I don't know. Don't have one. I actually forgot they were a thing until I saw that car today.

Are you new here?

My driver doesn’t need a radar detector, as his employment contract dictates obeying traffic laws are mandatory

If you’re driving 15 miles to work, driving 5mph faster than the flow of traffic gets you to work like 90 seconds sooner. Can’t be worth the road rage.
