Are people that think Whataburger is better than In-N-Out actually serious?

In-N-0ut fries are the worst fries of any fast food joint I have ever come across. Taste like eating freezer burnt air crisps

Whataburger patty melt- double meat, texas toast, grilled onions. 1200 calories of glory.

In-N-Out may be the literal most overrated thing I've ever had.

Because I think they are being "tongue in cheek" or have some kind of California pride thing.

No, In-N-Out isn't a top tier fast food burger restaurant.

I judge this solely on one mediocre as frick In-N-Out experience about 2 years ago.

SHAKE SHACK IS OVERRATED.

I can't argue with that. It's not a bad restaurant by any stretch, but it's expensive for what it provides.

I prefer their food to In N Out though but yea, not a fan of a minimum $12 tab for basically fast food, even if it is good

I tried In-n-out in Phoenix and it just wasn't very good. I get that it's cheap, like Whataburger, but it didn't taste any better. Whataburger also has better toppings for its burgers and better tasting patties, so I don't understand why people are so shocked that some find it better than In-N-Out.
