re: Are people that think Whataburger is better than In-N-Out actually serious?

Are they owned by the same company now?

The best thing whataburger ever made in its history was the breakfast burger but it was a limited time only item and they don’t have it anymore. That shite was good.

Never had In-N-Out. Only have Whataburger occasionally on car trips, but the few times I’ve had it the jalapeño burger was excellent and my fries were always piping hot. Spicy ketchup is good.
None of these are anywhere close to home cooked burger though, which takes less time than driving to a fast food joint. Why can’t fast food joints cook burgers as well as I can?

Whataburger is Sonic. Same quality and taste of burger... which isn't good.

In-n-out in Cali back in the day tastes much different that In-n-Out in Texas today
I found this to be true. I admit I was disappointed when I had In-N-Out in Texas. It wasn't up to par with the burgers I had in Cali.

I've never had In-N-Out or Whataburger in Texas. The Whataburger locations I've been too (5-6 in the last 10 years) were dirty and dingy. Not quite as bad as Burger King, but very disappointing. Maybe I just went to bad locations.
CFA and Canes are far more consistent with cleanliness and quality.
