I saw a bunch of women whining and complaining online about how underpaid and under appreciated our nurses are. They think they’re heroes who deserve 6 figure salaries. This the same shite teachers do constantly.

Last time I checked nurses get paid pretty damn well. It might not be 6 figures, but it’s enough to support themselves and and a small family.

Their issue is government threatening to start regulating their pay.

No, because at least nurses work year round.

Nurses and teachers tend to have a major overlap in several areas.

Young, female, lots of drinking / whoring, and interning in one or more bad area with a lot of violence.

And if they got paid 6 figures, it wouldn’t be enough.

Teachers probably don't get paid enough for the hassles they encounter

BUT it's not like some big secret that is withheld from them, they can go to any school, perform in mediocre fashion, and largely end up in the same position. Which means the financial cost of becoming a teacher is low, as is the performance cost (or can be theoretically).

It's not like you're promised 150k and reality hits and you realize you're making only 40-60k. You know that going in, and it's why the barriers for entry are relatively low.

Nurses in clinics make less than hospital nurse and floor nurse make less than ICU and ER Nurses. Nights and weekends make more. Salary is $20 to $50

You’re making reference towards the propensity of domestic violence?

$40 hr? but there are so many different levels of nurses. LPN's probably don't make very much while RN's do pretty well
