Does not apply to my wife, but generally:
They are chemically imbalanced 25 days out of the month and their body temps go wild in their sleep so they’re never actually well rested. You can’t blame them.
When that dance of insanity comes to an end, a new dance begins. They kind of got the shite end of the deal.
It’s not misogyny, it’s biology. In turn, they can make life.

Somehow, I’m struggling to believe saying “your feelings on this matter aren’t logical so this conversation is over” isn’t a great approach to successful marriage.

Not saying the conversation is over… but I refuse to play the game of “well you might be right” or “I could see how you could think that”… too old for it now put up with that bullshite for years… frick all that… if she wrong she wrong period… I’ve seen it and been apart of it compromising to illogical and irrational shite eventually backfires

It sounds like you might have been with someone who is legitimately crazy, and if that’s the case I’m so sorry.
If you two disagreed and you really could never understand how she might be right or why she might think the way you thinks, and this happened often and she would never concede, then yeah that’s a nightmare.
And that’s also rare. In most relationships, there’s always a concession to be made that costs next to nothing and gets you a lot. Even if it’s 100 small ones that don’t mean much of anything individually, they add up.

A women being illogical and irrational is not rare… you probably just lucked up in your current marriage (a blessing and I’m happy for you) or you wasn’t with her long enough for it to come out… it has nothing to do with how a woman behaves (for lack of a better word) in the world … it’s that she feels comfortable enough with you to go berserk in front of you.. its actually the trust she has in you not to harm her that makes her feel comfortable enough to go complete ape shite on you

We've been married for 25 years. We dated for 3 before that. We’ve had some dark times. Both of us have almost called it quits on different occasions.

That’s a hell of a theory on literally 50% of the human population.
