It’s like running a ship. Someone has to be the captain, someone has to be in charge, make the hard calls and set the course.
You need a competent crew, a partner, but there cannot be a power struggle. All it does is breed contempt.
If you lead well, she respects your position and can handle the crew (Children) and doesn’t question when orders are given, you can make it through any storm.
If you don’t firmly seize the helm and earnestly guide (meaning not just barking orders and retreating to your chambers), you’ll find your sails three sheets to the wind and your course careening towards the breakers.
But if you prove yourself worthy of respect and deserving of the obedience of your crew, you’ll find that nothing can sink you. And the siren songs of modern maleficence fall on deaf ears. Keep your course steady and booty awaits.

A neighbor of mine went overseas for work for a year and rented his house out to a friend of his who had recently married a chick from the Ukraine. She turned out to be a raging drunk that trashed the place.

My friend’s dad had one from the Philippines. She was about 25 years younger than him and they were married for 17 years until he died. His house was always spotless.

I have a fairly new client with one. She's 27 years younger and i think Russian. Very odd. He does all the talking for her basically. She seems utterly miserable. He comes from a large wealthy family and reminds me of a spoiled teenager. Very odd.
