Only tropical storms and many be a cat 1 if it falls on a weekend.

Cat 2, I'm getting nervous.

Cat 3, I'm hunkering down.

Cat 4 plus, I'm out.

We may not have always called them a party, but there was usually quite a bit of drinking done in the day or two before the tropical storms and weak hurricanes hit. Everyone was off of work and school, so it’s what we did.

I should have when Aida hit but no I didn’t I was on my couch watching movies on my PS4 (luckily I got a generator about a month before) while I listened to trees being ripped up, my neighbors took flying off, etc…. Next day I carried my arse to north LA through Mississippi. You couldn’t go west on any road

I always thought that was a pre-Katrina thing. Don’t know if I’ve heard of any since.

I had a flood of 2016 party. Two day bender from wake up to bed time. Then I was able to get to friends and family’s houses and start tearing out floors and sheet rock.

I instantly regretted the two previous days.

Yeah that would totally suck to do that kind of work hungover.

I drank beer and ate wings at Chimes and then laid the wood to a bartender from Cadillac Cafe the night that bitch Katrina rolled in.
