The work from home/having set hours thread got me pontificating, do people wear headphones in your office.

I've been listening to the US Open all morning and listen to pods regularly. We have that "collaborative workspace of the future" bullshite and people are on the phone all day so it sucks listening to 5 conversations with 5 different clients all day while trying to get your own shite done.

Sure, as long as your job description doesn't involve answering customer calls

Airpods all day...no one can even tell I'm wearing them.

I have an office and still leave the in while I'm working.

I usually use ear buds. It can get really loud by me and it helps drown out the noise and keep me focused.

Not really. Dude came in wearing obnoxiously large headphones and the mgmt guys were pretty ruthless about how he tools like a tool in them and shouldn’t wear them around
