I don’t think I have ever been to a good location.

The ones in Colorado are good. The Mexicans do their job well.

Doubtful that all are low rent.
Now poorly managed, that's another story.
It starts with leadership and what they will allow as acceptable.
Popeye's for their part, has a standard for the product in which they serve. It's pretty consistent no matter which Popeye's you frequent.
Also, pretty consistent is the lack of quality of people that they hire. If you have a pulse, attitude, and show no real desire to provide exceptional customer service, you can work at Popeye's.
And that all stems from Popeye's leadership. It's a culture that they have created and one they apparently embrace.

The one in Lafayette off of Pinhook was recently remodeled and is one of the only ones left with a buffet.

If you go to the one in Watson you get to watch the guy frying the chicken use his spit cup a few times while you wait 20 minutes for your 2 piece spicy

They do seem to all have bad employees. They obviously hire work release cons.

It's actually THE only location with the buffet left.
Believe it or not, the Eunice, LA popeyes is legit, fast, and good service. I know, I wouldn't think it either, but it is miles ahead of the Gonzales, LA one and that threw me off too.

When I lived in Texas a few years ago, there was a new one in Kingwood that was the cleanest and most tasty Popeye’s I’ve ever gone to.
Extremely polite and efficient workers.

Sorrento one has always been good.
All the BR ones are awful.
ETA... Except the one on Highland. It is good.

Most are shitty. However, walker location is above average.

I quit going 3 years ago after a racist bitch who managed the one in Prairieville pissed me off. I've never been to a good one. And I've never received my food through the window.

The one in our town, BSL, is good. They get my order correct at least. More friendly than BK Lounge.

I've been to some in California and they were good, except they barely add any sugar to their sweet teas.
