I'd appreciate a Popeye's where I am. Well managed or not.

The one on I-25 at the Longmont exit can’t get an order right...ever. And it takes them forever.

Im at Popeyes in Westminster, Ca at this very moment. Ordred 3pcs combo. Despite mounds of visible fried chicken in the kitchen it's been almost 15minutes.

The store in Spring TX is nice. Clean, bright, plenty of parking, and nice employees..

Find one in a rural area and it's almost always like night and day

Not saying you ordered them, but onion rings and popcorn shrimp can do that to you. Popeyes is good, but you start thinking, "I could have gone to a real sitdown restaurant," and that realization weighs.

I was in Austin and decided to go to a brand new Popeyes that just opened.
I was told to pull up and they'd bring my food out to me. Felt like home.

I've been to pretty much every Popeyes in Los Angeles proper and they are always pretty solid. Just don't ever go to the one on Hollywood Blvd. There's a good chance some crackhead will walk in off the street and steal your food from you while you eat it. Eagle Rock is my go to spot. The only thing that sucks is they don't have onion rings out here.

I could say the same thing for the one by me (suburban Vegas)
What's sad is that I understand their attempts at English better than when I go to any back to New Orleans.

The one in Port Allen still has a broken poyboy machine.

If there's no older black lady running the place you're in for an experience. Usually a long one.

There's one near Auburn Hills, MI where I work that is legit as hell. They are NEVER out of anything - not even honey for my biscuit

FWIW, I've never been to a KFC in the New Orleans area that wasn't filthy.
Side note: I do want to try that Popeyes Buffet I read about on the OT that I think is in the Lafayette area.

Way back when, there was one on Loyola Drive in Kenner, brah. I used to constantly wreck that shite...then, it would wreck me later.

Damn. Missed out on that one.
About 15 years ago, there was KFC buffet at Manhattan/Westbank Expwy that I used to hit up regularly.

Replace Popeyes with rally’s and this thread would be legit

Louisiana Popeyes are notoriously bad. I've been to two that amazed me because they had decent service. Ambassador in Lafayette and Country Club in Lake Charles. Guess the demographics.

Is there any difference between Rally's and Checker's? Is it like Carl Jrs and Hardee's?
