Our corporate overlords obviously have little confidence in the political leaders they bought and paid for.

I have a house in Grayton booked for a week in mid July. Florida posters, Should I cancel? All I keep hearing is a covid spike in Florida.

I’ll be carrying my personal stash (about a half ounce and oil pen) and don’t want to be harassed by Florida cops when I drive in.

We’re at 55 percent capacity in Jupiter.

We’ve been at 30 covids (give or take) for a few weeks which is higher than a month ago and at around our April numbers.

Most of those are elderly demented patients from memory care nursing homes that we don’t have a discharge destination for. So it’s kinda created a log jam and our 3rd floor is basically a memory care unit for covid patients who have minimal symptoms but still test positive. The new covid cases really aren’t that bad.

When this thing hits a nursing home we get a bunch dumped from that facility.

This is so fcking stupid.

I guess it’s a great business model to keep closing and opening businesses every other month.

From the Article.

A total of 11 Apple stores will close in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Arizona

11 Stores in 4 states. Not exactly a huge deal.

Hasn't the general argument around here been that the government shouldn't be shutting things down, that it should be up to people and companies to make that decision for themselves?

Whether I agree with it or not, this a company making that decision for themselves.

No, there’s no checkpoint coming into Florida anymore and the panhandle is all systems go. Trust me I live here.

Our present day infection rate is still lower than Louisiana's. Are y'alls apple stores closed?

I mean yes if they choose to close then good on em for doing it. But it’s just annoying that the narrative on this crap has changed so much.
