Ditch that iPhone and get yourself a Galaxy S8.

Why? So it can freeze up when you try to make a call?

You linked to problems with the Note8, not the S8. It's to be expected; sheep can't read very well. It should be noted, though, that other ruminants exhibit much better language skills.

Cook did a terrific job reframing that issue and basically makes the average financially illiterate person say, “oh, yeah, he is right about that”.

Yeah but it's a dumb way to make his product seem affordable. You shouldn't tell people what financial cuts they should make so they can buy your products

I’ve had an iPhone 6 as my work phone for almost 2 years.

But that phone wasn’t released two years ago.

iPhone 6 - 2014
iPhone 6s - 2015
iPhone 7 - 2016
iPhone 8/X - 2017

You may have only had it two years, but it’s 4 generations old...of course it’s slow.

Insane a phone costs that much. But if people will pay it.... good for them.

Long as the government doesn't hand them out when they mail the EBT cards

Why not? He is reframing the question from being about spending $1,000 to instead spending $4 a few days a week. It’s brilliant psychology.

It's really not that insane. This isn't the first time we've seen a phone/device cost somewhere in that range.

That’s the part that confuses me.

“Oh wow, 1150 for a phone? That’s crazy.

I’m going to get a 900 dollar galaxy. “

Does this account for all of the lakeview wives buying Starbucks for their 8 year old daughters to drink on the way to school with them?

But if you don’t get charged interest, is it really financed?

not to mention the amount of dependability on our phones these days and CONSTANT usage, we more than get our monies worth out of the devices.

People don't get this. We put our phones through hell. They aren't computers keptin air conditioned rooms that hardly ever have their systems maxed out

I bypassed that issue by getting an LG G6 with Verizon for $480 on sale ($20/month). The G7 will be out before too long, but the G6 is still the current model flagship. I'm not missing anything from my Galaxy and got a much better deal. In fact, I've actually got more features and a better camera system than most of the Galaxies.
