Especially when you are admitting a lot of Pell grant eligible ones and not requiring ACT/SATs for admission or for LSU controlled scholarships and grants.

Federal grants and other need based scholarships/grants have greatly increased along with the black and out of state increases in freshmen enrollments, and only 47% of the freshman enrollees submitted standardized testing for fall 2024 (that % lowered as the black % of freshman class went up again for 2024). Throw in those videos of some of the LSU sponsored ghetto looking orientation week events for students it’s a safe bet that many are bringing aspects of the broken US black culture with them even if they don’t adhere to the most abhorrent aspects.

BR’s demographics and crime plus LSU’s recent trends with freshmen classes along with LSU’s increasing push of the culture on campus including during football games and orientation week are just a bad combination. It doesn’t take that many enrollees bringing the broken culture with them when the broken culture is already running rampant right next to the campus and throughout Baton Rouge.

LSU has also been basically throwing out ghetto signals to north Baton Rouge with some of the culture and events it has been pushing on campus this year and last year, which kind of shows what LSU thinks the incoming black students want.
