The global warming movement is as much about punishing the West as it is about saving the earth. I'm not denying that climate change is occurring because it is constantly changing, but I question man's role in it all.

CO2 is not a pollutant. It is a trace gas that is required for life (ETA: At least life as we know it) to exist on this planet. If anything a little too little CO2 would be a much, much bigger problem than a little too much.

If only we can control volcanoes on land, under the ocean and under the North Pole then we can do something, oh yea stop cows from farting.

Higher CO2 levels do not necessarily mean more and happier plants... The cost of fixing CO2 is water. When plants take up CO2, they open up tiny pores on their leaves called stomata, but when the stomata open up, they lose water. Thus, in places like California, where water is limited, you may actually wind up with less happy plants because they cannot fix as much carbon. Of course, this being tigerdroppings, the suffering of California is probably welcomed.

I don't know why global warming is such a political issue.

Do you not pay attention to politics? You just laid out why it is political. The liberals use it to push their "green" agenda. They overexaggerate the impact we have on the climate cycles.

That is why it is political.

Let me rephrase, I don't understand how people are so stupid that they can't understand the simple facts that I laid out and see through the political grandstanding.
