What do you expect them to do? These call outs are typical for space flight, they have to be precise in their landing, calling out what they did is necessary.
Right! What did SECdragonmaster expect here? Some teenage girl emotion?

Not expecting them to act like sorority girls but you are correct that emotional responses mean everything.
Like when Buzz Aldrin punches that dude for not believing he landed on the moon. That seemed like an overreaction if Buzz KNEW he, in fact, landed on the moon.
But maybe, just maybe, Buzz acted in emotional response to the hoax starting to come unraveled.

Did this video release get Stanley Kubrick's approval?

Sully must not really have landed a broken plane in the Hudson River then.

Greatest achievement of humans, ever, period.

Y’all are some ignorant fricks. These two were both seasoned test pilots that had gone through much more harrowing events. They are chosen for the space program based on their ability to keep emotion in check under extremely stressful situations.
If you’ve Ever seen an emergency surgery you would be shocked at how calm and collected the docs are. Not anything like you see on tv or the movies, this is what has jaded the public concept of how emotion “should be” exhibited.

They'd also spent the last four days in a cramped spacecraft, in a zero gravity environment, with no showers and no beds. They had to be tired by the time they stepped on the moon.

. I remember Armstrong’s walk occurred at night. I remember the exit from the Lunar Module was delayed a couple of hours. ( as everything is in the Space Program).

I don't know. If some dumb a-hole tried to tell me the greatest achievement I had ever done in my life was a dirty lie I'd probably punch the shite out of him too.

Armstrong was considered by the other astronauts to be totally unshakable. After he ejected from the lunar lander test vehicle, almost parachuting into the burning wreckage he was at his desk in his office two hours later completing the rest of the days work, he was the original "Iceman".

Nah.
Buzz is a genius, but he’s always been wound up a bit too tight. It was a legit reaction to basically being called a liar.

The video is an abridged version of the event. In actuality, that crazy loon had been following Aldrin around for about 15-20 minutes. The confrontation started outside in the parking lot. Aldrin did a good job of ignoring him at first, but then the guy got in his face, and his anger got the better of him. Still...it took a while for the confrontation to escalate to that point. The dude had it coming.
