The gender reveal party started a fire down in San Bernardino outside of LA.
The fire up in SF is just another random wildfire unrelated to the gender reveal party.
Oh thank you for clearing that up.
I had no clue, honestly

People’s perception of CA is hilarious. Read a headline about one wildfire and assume the whole state is burning because of that one party, from LA all the way to SF. So ridiculous
I’m sorry I don’t know about Libafornia
Cry about it, ya weirdo

... so orange means gender fluid?
Orange is equated with "bad" this day in age from what I hear.

People that can’t separate politics from people’s livelihoods are the scum of the earth. The fact that you put a difference in views over a life is incomprehensible.
So you are pro choice with masks and covid lockdowns then right???... because I’m sure you aren’t scum of the earth.

Better turn off their A/C and appliances
You never need those in SF anyway. Most places just keep windows open year round.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but when Yellowstone blows, the air will be toxic and the ash will burn

Reminds me of this sometimes

Wrong. It’s all because of misguided progressive environments preventing common sense forestry management practices like logging, underbrush clearing, cutting fire lanes, and controlled burns.
Reality is always more nuanced than overly partisan people like you make it seem. Mismanagement is a big contributing factor, but 57% of California's forest is federal land, so you can't just pin it on California politics. And even a timber lobbyist acknowledges that it's not just mismanagement:
quote:
But even a key lobbyist for the timber industry in California — tasked with expanding logging in California — said it’s wrong to point to one cause, or fix, to the problem.
“We have had climate change, so temperatures are hotter and there’s less humidity and the fuel is drier,” said Rich Gordon, president of the California Forestry Association. “And there is more fuel to burn. It would have been positive [to expand tree thinning and timber harvests] but there are a lot of factors. I don’t think that would have completely eliminated this problem.”

Just as I have zero pity for California for their energy crisis, likewise I have zero pity for them with these yearly massive, uncontrollable fires. California made their bed now they can lay in it. Let California serve as a stark example to the rest of the country of what happens to your state after decades of total progressive Democrat control.
I added up the years that the governor's office was controlled by each party since WWII:
Since 1943
Republican governors 47 years
Democrat governors 31 years
Wiki says the Democrats have controlled the legislature since 1970 (a point in favor of your argument), so I added up the years of control of the governor's office since 1970 as well:
Republican governors 28 years
Democrat governors 22 years
California has only been strongly Democratic (i.e., will reliably control all branches of government) for the last 10 years or so.

Thank Sierra club for that shite. 100 year virgin timber is an inferno.

Yep. The sun was pretty well covered and we had enough ashfall to make it look like snow in some parts

Good.
California needs something to scare the bejeezus out of them. They’re long overdue.

Talked to a girl who sells wine for a local napa vineyard yesterday. She sounded pretty down. Even though the fires were stopped around her the smoke fricks up the grapes. Sucks.

Well, then that just goes to show how quick they can royally frick a state or country.

You miss the point; I don’t want anyone losing anything. People all across the country are losing everything because of unconstitutional forced shutdowns of their businesses.
