seems like I heard today that the law was written so that it only allowed like ten or so "approved" growers and the residents of ohio just didn't trust that premise...

I have my pet issues too and the only thing that will change my opinion on them is evidence and well constructed arguments based on that evidence. Some people are just not honest and patient enough to do that.

Yeah I'm all for legalization but this monopoly legalization method in Ohio would have set a dangerous precedent. I'm glad it failed.

The greater good was to legalize it. Making it legal should be a higher priority than who gets rich from it. Right now people's lives are getting ruined to make money for a few people. At least legalize it and not ruin anyone's life while still making money for a few people.

A majority of people in Ohio support legalization. They just didn't support this shitty bill to funnel the profits from legalization into a small group of corporations.

I live in ohio unfortunately and every single weed smoker I now was saying that this bill sucked for a variety of reasons. I don't know much about it, but most people who are for legalization probably voted against it.
