I gave a 2011 4X4 XLT, 5.0, HD everything. Rock solid, pulls strong, smooth and powerful. Rock solid dependable. I am buying a 2018 with 5.0 4x4 again.

2004 F-150 with 190,000 miles. Except for tire rotations and oil changes, it's never required an ounce of maintenance.

I have one I bought with 29K miles on it that looked like brand new. Had it about a year, now with 55K miles. No problems thus far and a lot of those miles were pulling something or on gravel and dirt roads. I can get 20 mpg if I keep it around 65 mph on the highway, about 17-18 mph in town. Of all the trucks I've owned, and I've had them all, Toyota is the best. But they come at a premium cost and the gas mileage sucks.

I had one and thought it was a piece of shite. I had several problems with it and it was only 2 years old when I traded it in. I also had several issues with the Ford dealership.

Earlier this year I traded it in for a Tundra. I have been extremely happy with that decision.

Yeah I love my Tundra but I'm also not interested in bells and whistles. Ford has more options.

The 3.5 EB is the best engine out there if it doesn't have any problems, but I just didn't trust it. I plan on keeping my truck 10 years.

Platinum with eb; love the power, ride and features. Great truck only knock is the EB (for me) could get better mileage on highway.

2013 Ram 1500. 5.7L V8

112k miles. 14MPG at 80mph. 22mpg and 55mph

No problems whatsoever

Hate on Rams all you want but I've had two and put 100k miles on each without ever having trouble. Hoping to put 200k on this one.

My Ram was solid also. I don't think anyone builds a bad fullsize truck today. Except Nissan.

Watch this video if you are trying to decide on the engine you should choose.

What Engine would Ford technicians choose?

Went from a 97 v6, 160 k miles, never put a finger on it. To a 2002 v8 super crew, 4.6. 265k and still going, no problems ever.

Let me know of a better riding truck then mine. Esp the back seat. Rides like a Cadillac.

It is 2017. This is absolutely nothing to brag about.

FWIW, 2013 5.0 F150 with 140,000 miles. I have done routine maintenance, including the front brakes at 100k. Only complaint is the lug nuts are capped and cheap. I went ahead and replaced them.

How you like it? Trim model, miles, price, etc?

I have a '13 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 that I absolutely love (I bought it new). I only have about 35K miles on it so far so I couldn't begin to tell you how reliable it is. No issues so far though.

I don't know how relevant the price is when comparing new trucks now, but it was listed at $52K and I got it for $38K. I shopped around online and found the truck I wanted. I made the deal before I drove to the dealership, so no haggling in person. It was a pretty smooth experience, so I would recommend the online negotiating.

Still have my 2000 F-150. Just set another engine in it after 275,000 miles. Towing, engine, and labor a little under $3000. Lot cheaper than a new truck. Don't know about the newer ones. Have heard complaints.
