Anyone thought the "#metoo" movement was a poor choice of slogan? # means "pound"..

"Pound Me Too" is a bad look for a harassment slogan.

I know in this day and age # is a "hashtag" to anyone 40 and under but when older people see #metoo they are asking themselves. "Why are they saying pound me too?"

Am I way off base here? They could have literally chosen anything else.
