It doesn't really bother me. I guess I just feel sorry for them.

Anyway, I only posted because of the ridiculous comparison of Oscar and Emmy winning actors to fricking wrestlers.....

[quote]Grown men take a seemingly vested interest in the outcome of kids playing sports. Many times for schools they didn't attend. That is every bit as strange. [/quote

]What's stranger is that people call those people bandwagon fans. When someone has been going to Lsu games since they were 6 and someone who attends the games from 18-22 yr old because they went there are more bandwagon.

"The man in the tall castle who looked down on others never realized he was alone in the world until it was too late. For casting judgment on others for things in which he did not agree caused him to be removed from all worldly matters, so much so that he could no longer see that he had become just another old hermit."

Do you go and smash the collections of people with model trains? Harass lepidopterists? Kick down sand castles?

All of those things are way cooler than wrestling. I won't say that people can't enjoy wrestling. I just think that it's lame.

I wonder if the WWF pays the background crowd that faces the camera. Those guys were going nuts all night.

They have been known to plant people before, but they dont have to at big events.
Smarks know which side will be the camera side and buy up those tickets. They know they are gonna be on TV.

I have an enormous Lego collection and I build my own models. Am I lame?

I was there.

Plenty of "normal" people in the crowd.

Hell, millions of fans pay to watch the NBA - and that's scripted, too.
