What's wrong with your old one?

Nothing really. Just crossed 180,000 miles. Could wait tho if there will be more deals towards the end of the year. I’ve never spent much on vehicles, mostly all used, bare bones types, but at this point in my life I sorta want something somewhat new and nice.

I looked at used cars this weekend.

It is depressing. Don't even bother.

Insofar as purchasing a new car or recent model, I'd trust Toyota or Nissan more than I'd trust US manufacturers for quality. (I really don't like to say that as I'm a fervent advocate of "buy American," but our domestic manufacturers need to build a track record turning out quality, long-lasting products again.)

Just curious if the overpriced market is starting to crash?
I noticed the dealership lots in my city are full of supply again. If prices haven’t dropped yet, it’s coming soon.

Prices are falling. I bought my wife a new one about 3 weeks ago. The price on it in June and what I paid for it was about 12k difference.

Yeah I didn’t wait back in February. But I would wait now. In February, MSRP was lower, and there were incentives. Today, MSRP is much higher and there are no incentives to speak of.

Challenger is running fine

I bought mine in July, and have had no issues or noticed any shortcomings in the build.

We will soon be proud owners of the second-to-last run of the ICE Challenger.

It's definitely a brave new world when a chrysler suv is $115k. And people are buying that shite.

Just bought a Tundra. Very little wiggle room- paid MSRP. However, a LOT of bargaining for my trade. If you're trading, it's pretty much just as good a time to buy as ever. If you don't have a trade, then you should wait....Things are just starting to go down a little. But they're not going to go down that much....

That'd be "Gen-Xer" ya damned Millennial. Didn't you learn which generations were which when you were in school? Or didja play too much Pokeman to learn anything else?

Our generation is special. We don't discriminate. We despise Boomers and Millennials equally.

Dealers are starting to have inventory on lots again. I bought a 2021 Sierra in April 2021 and even finding one that had what I wanted was hard. Had to go to Houston to get it. NOw, we're looking for an eTron for my wife and our local dealer has 7 on the lot with more on the way.

If you need a part, you better be a patient person. It’s a few months wait.
