noticed the dealership lots in my city are full of supply again. If prices haven’t dropped yet, it’s coming soon.

I’ve noticed this too. I have several dealerships near my house and the inventory has increased greatly in the last 4 months. Some had 10-12 cars on the lot for months but now the lots are filling up again.

I love fishing as much as the next guy but at $80k for your average bass boat, I’ll find another hobby quick.

Don't try wakeboarding. New wake boats are over $200k

Yeah and most of the folks buying them up are taking out 20 year notes.

I just picked up a new 5th wheel today. They're not cheap but room for negotiation.

Do you bother fishermen while you're out wake boarding? Personally I used to love wake board back in High School but my experiences with them has been incredibly negative since they believe it is perfectly acceptable to drive within 30 feet of a fishing vessel.

No, in my experience fishermen and wakeboarders tend to leave each other alone. The folks surfing and not paying attention and people on jet skis are the ones that usually cause problems for me.

ALso, we have very few fisherman on Lake Austin, I think I saw 1 fishing boat out there on Saturday

Both have more components manufactured in the actual US (not just North America).

Both more likely to be built here.

Your mantra needs to be, don't buy chinese whenever possible.

I think most fishermen would head towards other lakes in the area like Lake Travis or Fayette County (my personal favorite.) It is possible that it is centralized to Lake Conroe since it is constantly filled to the brim with idiots.

Side note: That is some pretty water in Lake Austin.

When I was in Dallas I kept my boat on Lewisville, I was shocked at how nice the Lake Austin water was the first time we went out.

Never been out on Conroe but I know it gets busy. Have some buddies that run HTX Watersports over there

Water is brown but there are a lot of places to tie up and have lunch/dinner on the southend of the lake west of the dam. Personally, I love the dive type places like Papa's on the Lake and they have a Margaritaville out there as well but keep your head on a swivel with all of the drunks in that area.

Sounds like Lake Austin going past Ski Shores.

I only took the boat down to houston once and we were on Lake Livingston. That water was chocolate milk brown.

You sure it wasn’t Lake Houston, I’ve heard it described exactly as that color. Livingston is swampy and northeast of Houston.

Yep, up on the Trinity. Stayed at Bethy Creek for a MasterCraft event. The Trinity was also flooded so a bunch of crap was in the river.

my 2004 Frontier finally bit the dust.

My 06 Frontier was starting to shite the bed right around Hurricane Ida.

Did you look at the new Frontiers? I was interested, but at the time, dealers had a hard time getting them, and they were tacking on $10-$15k out the door.

I wound up finding a used Ram 1500 for a price I couldn't pass up.
