I remember that commercial but never realized it was Seth Green. Rally’s was such garbage though.

If you are over 40 and from the New Orleans area you must remember this.

I used to love Rally’s as a kid.

The problem was most of the locations were in the hood. I remember once eating at the Orange Mound location in Memphis and some dude trying to sell stolen truck tires to my dad.

I do remember the ridiculousness over how saints fans took “ Cha-ching” over as a rallying cry. No pun intended. Hell, I even had one of the “Cha-ching cha-champs” tshirts. I just never realized how crazy it got for Seth Green to fly the kid down for a pep rally and the game. He had to be sick of saying that crap by the time he left.

They presented it to him during a Saints game in the Dome. I’ve heard him bring it up in interviews and he couldn’t believe how popular the commercial was in New Orleans. It made a big impression on young Seth.

Pretty sure I remember they had him run across the field doing “cha-Ching” the whole way.

I was at that game. We laughed at how dumb it was and how everyone ate it up.

Canal at the base of West End/Pontchartrain Blvd.

You and your 7lb bag of drive through could be at the lakefront within minutes having a nice romantic lunch, or early dinner, with a perfectly dressed, greasy Big Buford and those bad arse seasoned fries while watching the sunset, neon colored crotch rockets, or every model, color, interior, etc. Chevy Impala in the metro area. . I liked to save the 32oz Diet Coke for right when that last fry cleared molars and see how much I could chug before things got out of control.

Pretty spot on. I'm 37 and I 'member. Cha Ching, Budda Bing was my 6 year old self's catch phrase for a time.

Their fries were the best fast food fries.

Their tacos, which were for a limited time, were legit
